Self Assessment: The paper deadline has now passed

 

Did you miss the filing deadline for your Self Assessment paper Tax Return?

If so, don't panic and don't send your paper return to HMRC now or you will face a £100 penalty.

You still have time to file your return electronically by the next deadline of 31 January 2012 but, if you are new to online filing, you do need to give yourself time to register for online filing with HMRC.
