Who would have believed that during the third month into 2020 the UK would be socially distancing, High Street retail businesses, restaurant, bars and pubs and leisure businesses all over the UK would have been forced to temporarily close their doors the to general public and every business or personal email sent out would start with “hello, how are you, hope you are OK and I hope you are staying safe”.
The Team here at HB are working between the office and home and if you are anything like us, you are starting to miss the freedom to spend time face-to-face with colleagues, business contacts, clients and of course, friends and family. The social distancing situation really has had a huge impact everyone.
When we arrive at the other side of COVID19, HB Accountants would really like to organise a “get together” (providing of course it is safe and healthy and we are allowed to so) as social interaction is so valuable.
2021 marks a special year for HB Accountants. We will be celebrating our 100 year birthday so what better way to mark the end of Covid19, the start of a global recovery and our early birthday – a wonderful way to bring the business community together – so do look out for your invitation.

It’s not all about blogs – web Workshops are a great way to provide information too
We had our first Web Workshop of 2020 yesterday. We partnered with the fabulous Action Coach Yiannis Yianni – our Workshop was titled “Bounce Back From The Crisis”
Yiannis points you in the right direction to help identify crucial steps you need to take straight away to help ensure the survival of your business and helps you rediscover your energy, drive and focus.
The feed back from our Web Workshop was brilliant and as a result, we will most definitely be offering more Web Workshops covering varying topics over the coming weeks – watch this space!
