We were delighted when the ICAEW, having recognised our commitment in addressing diversity within the accountancy profession, featured us in their latest magazine: ICAEW Livewire, which is a magazine for Chartered Accountants in Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire.

Business of the Year East Herts Category – Inspiring Herts 2022
We are really excited to have been selected as finalists in the Business of the Year East Herts category in the Inspiring Herts 2022 awards. We are a Chartered Accountancy Practice of course, but first we are just humans. We are individuals who work as a team, lots of us are parents, some of us are pet parents. We support local charities and fundraise for causes close to our hearts. Our director Karen Chase has recently embarked on a 50km walk to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
We are serious about supporting our local and wider community, we are proud of our green initative and care about our local environment and the impact our business has on our community.
Our director Karen sits on the Board of the Hoddesdon Business Improvement District. She chairs the training and development sub committee and Vicki our Marketing Manager works closely with the BID manager to help organise monthly Business Networking breakfasts, these have gone from strength to strength since Vicki’s input and we regularly see 40-50 businesses attending – feel free to get in touch if you would like to attend, Vicki will be happy to keep you in the loop.
We produce a free Finance for School Leavers Guide every year which we push out to all the local schools and colleges. We regularly attend careers fairs, offer work experience placements and our apprentices revisit their schools to share their experience of the apprenticeship journey too. We organise quarterly networking lunches and are proud to have founded SNAP, a new networking group for young professionals.
Our passion is to help businesses to succeed. We provide peace of mind on all compliance matters. Our reputation is built on strong client relationships and providing outstanding service – and we were so pleased to celebrate turning 100 years old in 2021.
