Networking in Hertfordshire
If you’re serious about business growth, then networking amongst local business people can make a valuable contribution to your success. At HB Accountants we organise and host networking events, as well as attending local groups. Networking events are designed to help local businesses make connections.
At HB we set up and host a Quarterly Ladies Networking Lunch, which we run to enable local business women to meet and do business. We are proud to assist Love Hoddesdon with their monthly Networking Breakfast too. We also participate in networking groups which we attend such as Hertfordshire Professionals and Ware To Do Business to name a few.
Ambition Conference, Hoddesdon
Attendees for last Ambition Conference (back in 2019) hit the 130+ mark. Each year the Ambition Conference in Hoddesdon shares sales and marketing expertise amongst hundreds of local businesses. The team at HB Accountants is involved in making this event happen and have provided vital administration, managed finances as Treasurer and led the event team as Chair. It is a forward thinking event and we are proud to sponsor since it’s in our DNA and is designed to help local businesses thrive.
The 2022 Ambition Conference “Opportunity Knocks” took place on Tuesday 15th November 2022, at The Delta Hotels Marriott in Turnford, Cheshunt. The result, a fantastic day for Hertfordshire businesses as 6 fantastic speakers took to the stage.
It was a great opportunity to raise funds – all money raised will go to Broxbourne Borough Community Fund. Proceeds will be distributed to charities based or delivering in Broxbourne.
HB Ladies Networking Lunch
Our networking lunches are notoriously a full house – at the last count, we were 40 strong businesses from Hoddesdon, Broxbourne, Enfield, Harlow, Hertford and Bishops Stortford.

We believe businesses can help each other to succeed. That’s why we were part of a group who were involved in establishing the Business Improvement District for Hoddesdon. This has led to the creation of the ‘Love Hoddesdon’ initiative which we support which implements improvements for the town. We also sponsor the ‘Your Town’ initiative which includes a popular road race series.
